the night before the last Wednesday of the year is celebrate by the Iranian people as Chaharshanbe Suri, meaning red Wednesday, the Iranian festival of fire. this festival is the celebration of the light (the good) winning over the darkness (the bad); the symbolism behind the rituals are all rooted back to Zoroastrain times, over 200 years ago.
the festival of "Chaharshanbeh suri" is Persian and celebrated by Persians for over 2500 years. it is not an islamic traditional nor is it celebrated by any of the Arab tribes or people group. Charshanbe Suri is neither a religeous Cermoney nor a pollitical one, it is a celebration of ending a dark and cold season-"winter" and starting a new brighter and more hopeful one -"spring".
the tradition includes people going into the streets and alleys to make bonfires, and jump over them while singing the traditional song zardi-ye man az to, sorkhi -ye to az man (My yellowness for you, your redness for me) but figuratively: my paleness (pain, stickness) for you (the fire), your strength (health) for me.

Nowruz: Persian New year
Nowruz celebration and its haft seen spread is one of the oldest Persian tradition that goes back for many thousand years ago. Persian have always been celebrating the beginning of spring when days and nights are equally 12 hours apart and it is the beginning of a completer solar calender year which is 365 days and almost 6 hours. This is the only unique type of celebration that people would do it at the same exact time in and around the world.

My life
I was born in IRAN(Isfahan) in 1988. After 6 years, my sister was born. I was VERY happy. I started school in 2000. After 7 years I finished my schooling and we moved to Tehran.
When i got my diploma from high school, I worked in a computer shop and I was a typist there. 9 years later my other sister married. In 2007 my brother went to the USA and when I was 23 I decided to go to USA too.
After 1 week I went to Turkey to start my journey to the USA. However, in Turkey I met my lovely husband. Then after 1 month my husband and I went back to IRAN. In 2011 we got married. Then in 2012 we came to Australia. After a year I decided to go to TAFE to study. And now I'm happy here.
